- Terry Jermy MP had written to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and was waiting for further feedback. It was agreed that no further action be taken at this stage and would wait for further guidance to be released from MHCLG on the Regeneration Plans.
- The Chairman recommended the following people who could be asked if they might be willing to be an independent member on the community awards panel: Mel Sturman, Corrinne Fulford, Reverend Peter Herbert, and Karen Emma-White. Claire Mackintosh also suggested Billie Lawler. It was agreed that the Funding Panel would take this action forward and determine who to ask as the independent community representative.
- Members agreed the recommendations from the Grant Funding Workshop, including three funding bands (up to £10k, £10k-£50k, and £50k+), third-party administration for the lower bands, and the addition of sustainability questions to applications.
- Members agreed to allocate £200,000 to a future Project Fund (covering Bands A & B), upon receipt of the next round of funding in April 2026.
- The launch of the Community Support Fund was agreed to take place within the following two weeks.
